When you have thick, coarse hair it can be hard to find a style that is easy to manage and doesn’t take a ton of time to get ready in the morning. Thick, coarse hair usually comes with a wave or a curl of some kind which can be restrictive when considering hairstyles. Having grown up with thin, fine hair, I’ve always admired the thick ponytails and the robust buns that adorn the heads of thick-haired women around the world, and I thought it would be interesting to find out which hairstyles work best for thick hair.
