It’s not every day you walk into a restaurant and see an 18-year-old in the back, helping run the kitchen. Madison Bender at Maui Chop House in Rocky Point is the exception. Bender, 18, has been a sous-chef at Maui Chop House — located at 49 Route 25A — since August 2020.
