At a place renowned for brewing its own craft beers and serving half-pound burgers and artisan food, the signature item is the bomb. Avocado bomb, that is. Big Bear Lake Brewing Company’s famed avocado bomb appetizer is so tasty, it practically trades as currency. Donations of unwrapped toys or also diapers were worth free avocado bombs during the restaurant’s recent holiday drive. When the brewery reopened after the initial shutdown avocado bombs were the big seller, flying out at record pace.
